Everything Must Go (2010) Movie Trailer HD

In this comedy-drama based on the Raymond Carver short story Why Don’t You Dance?, Will Ferrell stars as a salesman named Nick, whose alcoholism leads to him losing his job. His life continued on a dark path from there; that’s the personification of rock bottom. His wife leaves him, and he has been locked out of the house, his belongings strewn all over the lawn. He can’t access the joint bank accounts. His car is repossessed, and his phone service is cut. With nowhere to turn, Nick tries to piece his life together with the help of new friends, selling off his belongings to get back on track.

While Everything Must Go isn’t one of Ferrell’s best-known or funniest movies, it’s worth checking out for those who are fans of his work. It’s a more subdued performance that tugs at heartstrings while delivering hearty laughs, too.

3 comedies on Amazon Prime Video you need to watch in April 2025 (3)

March was not a banner moment for the box office. WhileMickey 17received critical acclaim, Bong Joon Ho's sci-fi comedy will likely lose close to $75 million. WhileNovocaineandBlack Bagwere solid B-movies, they also failed to attract theatrical audiences. Disney will likely play the role of savior, asSnow Whiteshould bring families back to the theaters.
April doesn't have too many big-budget blockbusters. Ryan Coogler'sSinnersis probably the biggest attraction, with Alex Garland'sWarfare as a close second. There will be even more theatrical offerings this month, including a sci-fi anthology, a buddy comedy, and a crime thriller.

Freaky Tales (April 4 in theaters)
Freaky Tales (2025) Official Trailer - Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, Jay Ellis, Normani
As soon as the 1980s-inspired synths began in the trailer for Freaky Tales, I knew I would like this movie. Then, Pedro Pascal lit an envelope and said, "F--- you," to the gentleman sitting across from him, and I couldn't be more in awe. I have tried. In Freaky Tales, the filmmaking duo of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck return with their first movie since 2019'sCaptain Marvel.
Boden and Fleck craft an analogy movie set in 1987 Oakland and featuring an extensive group of characters: an NBA star, a corrupt cop, a female rap duo, teen punks, neo-Nazis, and a debt collector. The movie is split into four chapters of interconnected stories that revolve around underdogs. It's been over a year sinceFreaky Tales premiered at Sundance, so hopefully, this action comedy will be worth the wait.
Sacramento (April 11 in theaters)
Sacramento | Official Trailer (HD) | Vertical
Sacramento is not young enough to be coming-of-age and not old enough to be mid-life crisis. Perhaps it's somewhere in the middle. Either way, it's a buddy comedy with talented and likable actors, including Michael Cera, Micael Angarano (writer and director), Maya Erskine, and Kristen Stewart. One day, Glenn (Cera) gets in the car with his estranged friend, Rickey (Angarano), and heads to lunch.
Yet Rickey decides to keep driving in favor of a drive to Sacramento. Rickey's father recently died, and he wants some company to spread the ashes. With permission from his pregnant wife (Stewart), Glenn accompanies Rickey on a California road trip. Somewhere along the way, Rickey tries to win over Tallie (Maya Erskine). Sacramentofeels like a heartfelt comedy tailor-made for 30-somethings with anxiety. In other words, your new favorite movie.

Enemy of the State (1998)
Enemy of the State (1998) Trailer #1 | Movieclips Classic Trailers
Sadly, we lost Gene Hackman this year, one of the greatest actors of our time. Relive one of his many great movies, Enemy of the State, in which he stars alongside Will Smith. Hackman is Edward “Brill” Lyle, a talented surveillance expert who frequently works with labor lawyer Robert Clayton Dean (Smith). When Dean finds himself in hot water while working a case against a mob boss that involves the NSA and threatens citizens, he reaches out to Brill for help.
The chemistry between Hackman and Smith is solid in Enemy of the State. The movie was a box office success and earned positive reviews, with critics lauding its writing, direction, and the talented lead cast. If you're looking for a good Hackman film to remember his fantastic film legacy, this one is a good choice before it's gone from the streamer.

Rampage (2018)
RAMPAGE - OFFICIAL TRAILER 1 [HD]
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might be making appearances in WWE right now, but he’s still one of the biggest action movie stars with an impressive resume of films, including this one. A sci-fi monster movie, Rampage is about a pathogen that escapes from a space station and makes its way to George (motion captured by Jason Liles), a rare gorilla who grows larger and more menacing. His human friend Davis (Johnson), a former Special Forces soldier who saved George from poachers, must now work with doctor Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris), who originally developed the pathogen, to try and save George from government capture.
While Rampage received mixed reviews, it was a box-office success. Classify this one as a popcorn flick to watch on a lazy night at home when you just want to turn your brain off and be entertained with stunning visuals and thrilling action sequences.
